On a day to day basis the operation of Positive Response is handled by Robin Gunson, Rob Jefferies and Melody Kozlowski.

Robin Gunson has worked with people who experience autistic spectrum disorders for over 25 years. Robin is involved with service design and implementation for this challenging and unique group of people who experience autistic spectrum disorders. He has been involved with the development of the Positive Behaviour Management package since Positive Response’s inception and works closely with Professor David Allen and Tony Doyle.

Robin is also head of development for an autism charity based in Cornwall. It has over 20 residential homes across the county as well a specialist school and employs over 400 staff.

Robin often meets with new organisations who are considering changing their training programme. He can advise on how the PBM training programme can meet the complex needs of different organisations.

Throughout the year Robin hosts regional meetings with PBM trainers to keep everyone up to date with new developments and enable trainers to meet and share ideas.

Rob Jefferies has worked with people who have autistic spectrum disorders and intellectual disabilities for over 13 years. Throughout this time, he has supported many individuals with complex and challenging behavioural needs in both hospital and community settings.

With nine years experience as a trainer, Rob has been involved with PBM both through his work with the NHS and Positive Response. At present, he is further developing the system of ongoing support and development for PBM trainers with the aim of maintaining the highest quality standards for the delivery of the programme.

Rob is available to consult with individuals, their carers and organisations in order to help them to understand the reasons why challenging behaviours occur and to explore jointly how they can be reduced and managed safely. He can also work with carers and care organisations to plan how their behavioural training needs can be most appropriately met.

Melody Kozlowski has a background in training and business management and is the office manager for Positive Response. Melody deals with all the enquiries about training and consultancy, organises trainer and direct care staff courses and manages the marketing and website to provide information and training resources.
